Curated Objects from Morocco

Marmoucha Vintage

Learn about our latest pieces.

  • Every Moroccan rug is crafted from 100% natural wool, hand-spun by Amazigh women across the Atlas Mountains. The wool is washed in mountain springs and sun-dried, creating a texture that feels both soft and resilient. Some tribes blend camel hair or cotton for variation, and dyes are often derived from plants, minerals, and saffron or indigo pigments. The result is a sustainable, authentic rug made to age beautifully over generations — a true investment in craftsmanship and comfort.

  • We keep a carefully curated selection of authentic vintage and new rugs ready to ship within 1–4 weeks, depending on your location.
For custom-made pieces, every rug is woven to order on traditional looms in the Atlas region. This artisanal process takes time: approximately 4–6 months, including weaving, washing, and drying. Each stage ensures the rug’s durability, density, and one-of-a-kind character. Good things — and great rugs — take patience.

  • Looking for a bespoke rug? Our artisans can customize size, color palette, pattern, and pile height while preserving the tribal weaving tradition. Whether you dream of a minimalist Beni Ourain or a vibrant Boujaad, we’ll translate your vision into a hand-woven heirloom. Each commission begins with a design sketch and sample yarns for approval, guaranteeing a perfect fit for your space and aesthetic. Handmade, ethical, and truly yours.
